Islamic Fanatism and Terrorism Cases in Indonesia the Perspective of Islamic Criminal Law

Acts of terrorism are often associated with Islamic teachings, which lead to a bad stigma against Islam. Cases in Indonesia occur almost every year, the shocking case is Bali bombing killed 202 foreigners. The research aimed analyze problems fanaticism and from perspective criminal law. used descriptive analysis, type normative juridical research. approach was historical conceptual. study showed that acts defending Islam cannot be justified because has political intentions. religion of raḥmatan lil ‘Ālamīn loves good hates evil. government’s efforts mitigate by making preventive form legal protection for someone suspected adhering terrorist radicalism. Prevention intended for, national preparedness, counter-radicalization, deradicalization, fostering religious insight. In addition, made giving role society mass organizations perform moral movements.
